The Benefits Of Your Legal Service Plan A fully staffed Legal Department is available to Teamsters Local 20 members and will consult with them on any legal problem they may have concerning workers' compensation, traffic violations, felonies, etc. In addition, Local 20 has established a Legal Defense Fund which has many programs in effect to protect the legal rights of the members, including a garnishment program, will and bankruptcy services as well as a legal clinic.

The Legal Defense Fund Office is located on the second floor of the Teamsters Building at 435 South Hawley Street, Toledo, Ohio, and is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and Wednesday night 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

The Legal Defense Fund is a free service to our members and no appointment is needed to see an attorney, however, appointments are encouraged to avoid unnecessary delay in seeing a staff member. If a Local 20 member, his/her spouse or an unmarried child has a legal problem, they are eligible for this service.
