Bill Lichtenwald
Bill Lichtenwald, a graduate of Delta High School, became a Business Agent for Teamsters Local 20 in 1978 after having worked on the dock at Roadway Express. He became a Trustee in 1982 and rose to the office of Vice President in 1992.
On February 1, 2001, Bill became President of Teamsters Local 20. Currently Local 20 represents approximately 8,000 members employed at 221 different shops and barns in Northwest Ohio.
Bill is State Chairmen for United Parcel Service.
He is also a member of the Toledo United Labor Committee, a coalition of labor unions in Toledo and surrounding communities.
When asked what he likes most about working for the Teamsters Union, Bill replied, "I love representing working men and women." And Bill has done a great job of that for the past twenty-three years!
